Central Location

…right in the pedestrian area of Ortisei in the Dolomites!

Quiet yet right in the center – B&B Villa Angelino is located directly in Ortisei’s charming pedestrian area. Surrounded by the famous Dolomites mountains, from here you’re just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the cable cars to Alpe di Siusi, Rasciesa, Seceda and the famous Sellaronda, as well as from the central village bus stop.

Ortisei di Val Gardena

Val Gardena valley includes the villages of Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva. Ortisei, with about 5,000 inhabitants, is the main town of the valley. From the village, you can take a cable car to three of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Dolomites – a UNESCO World Heritage Site:

The Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest alpine meadow; Rasciesa, located in the Puez-Odle Nature Park; and Seceda, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the Odles peaks and the other South Tyrolean Dolomites. In the evening, the lively pedestrian zone invites you to stroll, shop, or enjoy a drink in one of its cozy cafés and wine bars.

Arriving by Car

Val Gardena (or Gröden, as the valley is called in German) is easily accessible via the Brennero motorway (A22), exits Chiusa or Bolzano Nord.

Important: Check-in for Villa Angelino takes place at the nearby Hotel Angelo Engel. We recommend stopping there first before heading to the Bed & Breakfast, either on foot or by car.

Once in Ortisei, take the second exit at the roundabout before the tunnel. Continue uphill and turn right at the first small bridge – the hotel parking lot will be on your left.

Arriving by Train / Bus

The nearest train stations are Bressanone and Bolzano, both about one hour away. From the south, they’re served by Trenitalia and Italo; from the north by DB and ÖBB. Local trains also stop in Chiusa and Ponte Gardena, which are even closer.

From all stations, you can reach Ortisei by bus – they run about every 30 minutes. Timetables are available at www.suedtirolmobil.info. On request, we’re happy to send you a free digital bus pass via email before your arrival.

Arriving by plane

Skyalps offers direct flights to and from Bolzano. Destinations vary by season and include cities like London, Antwerp, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Kassel, and Hanover.

Alternatively, we recommend the airports of Verona or Innsbruck (approx. 1.5 hours), or Munich and Milan (approx. 3 hours). From the airport, you have the following options:

Taxi or Rental

Car We recommend Taxi Emil Kostner. Prices are approx. €300 from Innsbruck, €450 from Verona, and €640 from Munich.

You can also rent a car – we suggest rentalcars.com for the best offers.

Long-distance Bus or Train

Flixbus offers connections from Verona (city center), Innsbruck (city center), and Milan Bergamo (airport) to Bolzano. Alternatively, take the train from Verona to Bolzano.

From Bolzano, continue by public bus (“Bolzano train station” to “Ortisei, Piazza Sant’Antonio”) or by Taxi Emil Kostner (approx. €150).

Another option is Südtirolbus, which brings you directly to Villa Angelino – though it can be more cost-effective to take a taxi.
