Central location

in the pedestrian zone of Ortisei

Quiet, yet right in the pedestrian area of Ortisei, B&B Villa Angelino is right in the center of the Dolomite’s skiing and hiking area:
the cable cars to the Alpe di Siusi, Rasciesa and Seceda / Sellaronda as well as the bus stop on the main square are all within 5 minutes easy walk.

Ortisei di Val Gardena

Val Gardena hosts the three villages of Ortisei, S. Cristina and Selva. Ortisei, with its nearly 5000 inhabitants, is the main town. Directly from the center of Ortisei, one can reach 3 of the most beautiful sites of the UNESCO Dolomites: The Alpe di Siusi, largest high plateau of Europe, Rasciesa, part of the Puez-Geisler natural park, and Seceda, from where you have a wonderful 360° view of the surrounding Alps. In the evening, the cozy pedestrian area, with its nice cafés, bars and shops, invites you to promenade and enjoy the idleness.

Arriving by car

The easiest way to reach Val Gardena is via the Brennero motorway (A22), exit Chiusa or Bolzano Nord.

Please note: The reception of B&B Villa Angelino is located in the adjacent Hotel Angelo Engel. Therefore, we recommend checking in at Hotel Angelo Engel and then driving (or walking) to B&B Villa Angelino.

Once in Ortisei, take the second exit at the roundabout in front of the tunnel. Following the road uphill, take the first bridge on the right, and then turn left into the parking lot of Hotel Angelo Engel.

Continue to the B&B Villa Angelino

To continue to the B&B Villa Angelino, drive back over the small bridge and turn right. After about 100 meters take the first exit at the roundabout and turn into the pedestrian zone. After about 80 meters you will reach an automatic bollard, which closes the pedestrian zone. You can open the bollard by bar code. Continue for about 20 meters until you reach Hotel Cavallino Bianco and turn right into Via Petlin. After about 20 meters turn right again and reach our private parking.

Arriving by train

The railway stations of Bressanone and Bolzano are about 1 hour drive from Ortisei and are served by Trenitalia, Deutsche Bahn and Öbb trains. Local trains also stop in Chiusa or Ponte Gardena, which are a little closer.

Ortisei is easily reachable by bus from all the stations. Busses depart about every 30 minutes. Detailed timetables are available on www.sad.it. The bus costs very little but we can also send you free tickets in advance for the bus that we will give you upon arrival. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Bressanone for approx. 70 euros and from Bolzano for approx. 85 euros.

Arriving by plane

The closest airports are Verona, Innsbruck (both about 1,5 hours by car), Munich or Milan (about 3 hours by car). From the airport you have the following options:

Taxi or rental car

The taxi company of our trust is Taxi Emil Kostner. The trip to Ortisei costs about 220 euros from Innsbruck (1.5 hours), 300 euros from Verona (2 hours) and 530 euros from Munich Airport (3.5 hours) each way. Alternatively, you can rent a car. We recommend www.rentalcars.com for the best deals.

Bus

There is the Flixbus running from Verona (downtown), Innsbruck (downtown) or Milano Bergamo (airport) to Bolzano. Verona is also well connected by train to Bolzano. From Bolzano you could then take the public bus ("Bolzano stazione" to "Ortisei, Piazza S. Antonio") or Taxi Emil Kostner (about 90 Euro) to Ortisei.

An alternative is the Südtirolbus, which takes you directly from Verona Airport, Bergamo Airport or Innsbruck Airport to B&B Villa Angelino. This service is however quite pricy and it might be more convenient to take a taxi.
